Dr. Ravinder Kumar Upadhyaya is having an experience of 34 years in aquaculture and fisheries science as a researcher, academician and trainer. He started his professional career with Central Institute of Fisheries Education (Indian Council of Agriculture Research, New Delhi, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmer’s Welfare, Government of India), Mumbai as a Senior Research Fellow and reached to the position of Chief Technical Officer before superannuation in 2018. He is having vast knowledge and experience of integrated freshwater fish farming that includes farm designing, operation and management. A large number of farmers and entrepreneurs are benefited by his guidance and support. He is a research supervisor and visiting faculty at several agriculture universities in the country. He is also well known as a fisheries extension specialist and regularly invited for talk shows on radio and TV programmes.
