Sushma is a post graduate in Fish and Fisheries with more than 8 years’ experience of teaching to graduate and post graduate students at RDS College, Muzaffarpur, Bihar. She has sharpened her skill through attending several training programmes in the field of fish breeding, freshwater fish culture, integrated fish farming, coastal aquaculture, fish disease etc. at reputed national fisheries institutes in the country. She is a very passionate learner and teacher. She has served as a trainer to fish farmers in Agriculture Department of Sitamarhi district in Bihar and also as a Fish Farmer Advisor in the Fisheries Department, Government of Bihar. She is a qualified ornamental fish technician certified by Agriculture Skill Council of India (National Skill Development Corporation) and invited guest faculty at several training institutes in the country. Her passion to explore the science of ornamental fisheries helped her to master the breeding of number of several freshwater ornamental fishes as well as culture of live fish feeds. Presently, she is also working for her Ph.D. degree in addition to all these responsibilities.
